DELIVERIES TO THE VENUE
Delivery Information Coming Soon.
ACCESS FOR LOADING/UNLOADING
The Cape Town International Convention Centre 2 (CTICC 2) features a marshalling yard specifically designed to facilitate the loading and unloading of materials for events and exhibitions. This yard is situated opposite the Exhibition Halls, with direct access available exclusively to Exhibition Hall 7. For Halls 5 and 6, as well as upper-floor events, a staging area located behind these halls is utilized to stack materials, which are then transported to and from the exhibition stands.
Access to the CTICC 2 marshalling yard is via the entrance located on FW de Klerk Boulevard. All exhibitors and contractors are required to register at this entrance, where both the driver and vehicle details are recorded by CTICC Security. After offloading, vehicles are directed to park in the P5 parking area’s B2 level. If P5 is full, alternative parking is available in P1 and P3 garages.
Please note that the marshalling yard is intended for loading and offloading purposes only, with access limited to 1.5 hours for small vehicles and 3.5 hours for trucks. Vehicles exceeding these time limits may incur parking fees, and unattended vehicles risk being clamped.
More information on booking delivery slots coming soon.
CONTRACTOR PASSES
We kindly request that all individuals including contracted safety, security and medical services, accessing the CTICC site during both the build-up and strike phases complete a mandatory induction before engaging in any work activities.
To fulfil this requirement, please complete the designated online induction by visiting the following URL
Subsequently, all contractors must proceed to the CTICC Marshalling Yard container for registration. Once registered, a coloured wristband will be provided for the duration of the day. Contractors are reminded of the necessity to possess a valid, scannable barcode identification document or the QR code received via email upon successful completion of the online induction. This documentation is to be presented upon arrival at the registration container.
The verification of completed induction status will take place at the CTICC Marshalling Yard container, accomplished through the scanning of individuals’ identification documents or QR codes. Exhibitors, however, are granted exemption from the induction process during the stand dressing phase following the build, provided they are in possession of valid exhibitor accreditation. Failure to present valid accreditation will necessitate the completion of the mandatory induction.

SECURITY
Although every reasonable precaution is taken and the hall is patrolled day and night, exhibition halls are vulnerable places and the Organisers can accept no responsibility for any loss or damage which may occur to your staff or property from any cause. Please consider these security tips when planning your stand:
Make contact with the event security company for advice on how secure any vulnerable/ valuable items
Do not leave your items unattended at any time during the build-up, the open period or breakdown. Do not leave the venue until all visitors have gone each evening
Think about how you position desirable items, especially where you may not be able to keep an eye on them
Always secure desirables and valuable items. Typically, these are plasma screens, laptops, mobile phones and handbags
Ensure you have enough staff so that your area is not vulnerable to thieves and do not ask anyone else to watch over your property while you go for a break. They may become busy and not be able to keep an eye on it
Remove all portable items of value each evening where possible, especially on show close evening. Do not leave them until the following day for collection
Arrive in time for the show opening each day.
Use a lockable cabinet to store your personal possessions during the show open hours
Hire an alarm for your area if you have valuable or portable items
Ensure your insurance arrangements cover you for this exhibition
If you are a victim of theft please report the matter immediately to the Operations Team
